Woodside Animal Welfare Trust — Registered Charity No. 1143122
Based on the outskirts of Plymouth on the South Devon coast, Woodside was started in 1974 by Carole Bowles MBE.
They are the only charity in the area to take in pretty much every type of animal and have an on site sanctuary for residents who can not be rehomed.
As well as rehoming over a thousand animals a year, they are also proactive in the community, encouraging responsible pet ownership via a welfare round, a spay and neuter scheme, and school visits to help educate the next generation of pet owners.
Both Trixie and Pumpkin were 'Woodsiders' and we could not be more grateful for their kind, inclusive, and supportive approach to animal welfare and the people who adopt from them.

Luna Animal Rescue — Registered Charity No. 1163839
Based in South East England (Herts/Beds area), Luna was started in 2013 by Natalie Howe.
Luna rescue a range of different animals, using their network of foster families across the South East to place and rehabilitate rescue animals before rehoming them.
Our gorgeous Cindy was a Luna girl who found herself in need of a new family at the grand age of 18.
Where many charities would not have given her a chance, Luna took her in, found her a long-term home (with us!) and worked with us to keep her happy and comfortable for the rest of her days.
We are so grateful that Luna saw past her age and, instead, saw a life worth saving.
We also could not have fostered for a more supportive organisation and we are in awe of Natalie and the work she does.
